It’s good to be back! On Wednesday eve we celebrate Yom Haatzmaut (Israeli Independence Day), and this year it feels even more special! There are parties across the city, check out our Guide to find all the best raves, rooftop parties, beach parties and more! Tickets are selling out fast, don’t wait till the last minute.

YOM HAZIKARON

Tuesday evening and Wednesday Day – Israel’s Memorial Day

Yom HaZikaron is the day Israel commemorates her fallen soldiers, and the victims of terrorist attacks. This year most of the ceremonies are online, we’ve got a few listed on our website including events in English by Masa, TLV Internationals, and a joint Israeli Palestinian event. All shops, bars, restaurants, and Wolt are closed on Tuesday night, remember to stock up with food before. There will be sirens on Tuesday evening at 8pm and Wednesday morning at 11am.

New blog post! It seems to be the generation of resurrection for Shenkin Street. Within the last year, food shops have been popping up along the street, opened and owned by local residents who live on or near Shenkin. The street’s popularity like we enjoyed in the 80’s seems to be returning, but this time with something new – a community atmosphere. We’ve sent our roving reporter Jake Pemberton and talented photographer Steven Ross to check it out!
