SUKKOT

Seven days of festive events, starting on Sunday

Sukkot starts on Sunday! Get ready for seven days of fun events for all the family – highlights include the Icon SciFi Festival, the Hungarian Food FestivalCycle Tel Aviv, and the Tamar Music Festival at Masada… Check out our Ultimate Sukkot Guide for the full festive experience! Buy all your Sukkot equipment at the Four Species Sukkot Market at Kikar Rabin (today until Sunday morning). Also, tonight there is a huge Environmental Protest at Habima – as we celebrate the harvest, let’s also make sure there will be bountiful harvests for future generations!

DGTL PARTY

Huge party in the park on Monday, plus loads more parties

It’s another public holiday on Monday – which means there’s another HUGE party in Park Hayarkon. This week it’s DGTL – a worldwide musical experience of DJs and live acts! More top underground parties this week include, tonight: Experimental Party @ Art Club, and Temple of Love @ Duplex. Saturday: Midburn Shitfal’e Camp’s After Bath Party, and Queen vs Beatles Party @ Ozen Bar. Monday: Jazz is Cool @ TEDER. Check out our calendar for more parties

TAMAR MUSIC FESTIVAL

Starts on Monday at Masada, plus loads of cool local concerts

Every Sukkot Masada hosts the Tamar Music Festival – four-days of concerts in a breathtaking setting. Tickets are scarce, grab them if you can. Closer to home, this week Tel Aviv welcomes Dutch band Epica tonight @ Barby, and Lambsbreath from Canada on Monday @ Teder. For some really fun local concerts, check out, Friday: Shlomi Saranga @ Reading 3. Saturday: Malabi Tropical @ Barby, and Buttering Trio @ Drama. Monday: Tamar Afek @ Cuckoo’s Nest. ICON SCIFI FESTIVAL

Starts on Tuesday at Cinema-theque, plus other fun meetups

 

If you love science fiction, superheroes and comics, this is for you! Every Sukkot the Cinema-theque hosts the Icon SciFi Festival on Tuesday to Thursday with over 250 events, including best costume contest! Other cool meetups this week include, Tonight: Paint Night Pet Edition @ Tel Aviv Art StudioProtest for Climate @ HaBima, and Spiritual Night by TEDER @ TLV Museum of Art. Friday: Volunteer with the Elderly @ OneDay, and Kerem House for Shabbat Dinner. Tuesday: Legalize-It Protest @ Kikar Rabin. Check out our calendar for more meetups

HUNGARIAN FOOD FEST

Starts on Tuesday at the Nemal, plus more best of the rest in TLV

Feeling hungry after the Fast? Check out the Hungarian Food Fest @ TLV Port (next Tues to Thurs) – with food stands, wine tastings, handmade craft stands, live music and DJs, and activities for all the family. Also this week, Tomorrow: Reflection Exhibition @ The Prince, and Burner Bazaar @ Overstay. Saturday: The Hoodna Bazaar is back in Florentine, and The Opera comes alive in Jaffa.
