Five of our favorite up-and-coming bands are performing this week, including Acollective, Yemen Blues and Red Band tonight, plus Garden City Movementand The Angelcy on Saturday. For the religious amongst us, this is a celebration of the end of the mourning period of Omer, and a commemoration of the founder of Kabbalah Rabbi Shimon Bar Yohai. For the heathens, it’s a great excuse to burn shit. This year’s events include a YJP Bonfire @ Kikar Hamedina on Wednesday night and a big party on Tzuk Beach on Thursday night.
