Overstay-TLV Backpackers Hostel is a Secret Tel Aviv favourite, regularly getting good reviews.
Housed in a former textile factory in Jaffa (about 1 km from Jaffa Market, 1.4 km from the beach. A roof top sea breeze sun deck upstairs. Downstairs its the chillout street art decorated yard with sofas, swimming pool, billiard table and the occasional party taking place. Bathrooms and showers are all shared. Basic breakfast is served every morning, plus a furnished kitchen at your disposal and beers and soda for sale. All you need to feel at home and crash after a day or night out in the city.
Overstay aim to provide you a homebase from which to go out and explore the city, or retreat back to returning from the countryside or just from the beach or night out in the city.
Its just 7 minutes walk to the exotic Jaffa Old City and Flee-Market, cafes and souvenirs at day time, turns into a bustling night life district after sunset. 10 minutes walk north to Florentin hood, the street art decorated “East Village” of Tel aviv, home for students and artist studios, bustling with clubs and bars at night. The Mediterranean beach is 15 minutes walk to, but renting our 1euro/day bicycles you can make it in less then 5 minutes along the bicycle lane just out our front door. Notice! we have an age restriction of 18-45.
