Beit Hatfutsot, the Museum of the Jewish People, is set in the beautiful grounds of Tel Aviv University. Its goal is to tell the story of the Jewish people. Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People is a vibrant, dynamic, and interactive educational and cultural institution, strengthening Jewish identity and perpetuating Jewish Peoplehood worldwide. Respecting tradition while acknowledging new aspects of Jewish life – Beit Hatfutsot is in the midst of a comprehensive, multi-year program of renewal which will culminate with the opening of the new Museum of the Jewish People in 2018. Spanning over 100,000 square feet – the new museum will be the largest of its kind in the world. Beit Hatfutsot accommodates special cultural events; new modern galleries for temporary exhibitions; a computerized study area offering the visitors a digitized databases; a fine museum gift shop, and an Aroma cafe-restaurant with a magnificent deck-balcony overlooking the Tel Aviv University campus.
