Opened in 2017 by Italian Olim, on the corner of Dizengoff and Gordon, this restaurant has been created with love and great taste. The food is delicious — the kitchens are managed by two Italian chefs both with over 30 years of experience and you can really taste the passion that goes into preparing every dish. The ingredients are fresh, the atmosphere is very Italian, and the service is great! What more could you ask for?

Yes, it is kosher (and halavi) so there’s no steak or veal milanese, but order anything else off the menu and you’re sure not to be missing out. They recommended me against the pizza, although I’m sure it would have been delicious, but the honesty and humility at Pankina was both intriguing and refreshing.  But for pure kosher Italian cooking, this is bellissima! We had the risotto balls and salmon carpaccio to start and both were delicious. For our main course we went for the ricotta ravioli (spectacular) and Spaghetti al Ragout Di Mare (also great). Of course, for dessert we did as we were told and took the tiramisu – I can happily report that this is the best tiramisu I have ever eaten in Israel.

Pankina is a great addition to the kosher scene in Tel Aviv, and an even better addition to the Italian restaurant scene. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

Pankina is also featured in Secret Tel Aviv’s Guide to the ‘Best Kosher Restaurants’.
