Hidden away in Atarim Square, Craft Pizza Bistro is a bit of a surprise find. It’s built to look like a desert cave or something out of a Gaudi sketch, with these soft, sand-colored walls that make you feel like you’ve stepped off the beach and into a different world. It’s got a great view of the Mediterranean, so if you can snag a table near the edge around sunset, you’re golden.
The food is serious Neapolitan-style pizza made with a 72-hour sourdough, so the crust has that perfect char from the stone oven. They do some really interesting toppings—like one with smoked beets and another with Camembert and honey—that you don’t see at every other pizza joint in town. It’s also strictly kosher, which makes it a solid, reliable option for a group where everyone has different dietary needs. Just keep in mind it gets pretty lively and loud when it’s full, which only adds to that busy Tel Aviv boardwalk energy.
