What is Genesis Partners?

Founded in 1996, Genesis Partners is now winding down operations after over 2 decades at the top. In February 2019 they sold most of their last fund raised over 10 years ago to Insight Venture Partners (US), retaining stakes in Riskified, Innovid, and Valens.

Genesis Partners is a leading early stage venture capital firm that partners with exceptional entrepreneurs to build successful, fast-growing companies. Genesis believes technological innovation creates tremendous business opportunity, and shares this vision and passion with all of the entrepreneurs in which it invests.

The investment team focuses on building long-term partnerships with entrepreneurs whose vision, passion, integrity, and execution skills build market leaders. The fund manages over $600 million in capital commitments across four funds, and focuses on seed and early stage investments in the information and communication technology (ICT) sectors. Genesis’ strong ties to the Israeli entrepreneurial community and the global technology industry have led the fund to an impressive track record with close to 30 successful exits. At its core, Genesis invests in people and their passion to realize their dreams.
