We have a new mexican in town !
Since a month, Changos opened in Florentine. I’m a HUGE fan of mexican food but I always order the same damn meal, which is quesadillas. I’ve try Changos with my parents this week-end. They are not really into street food BUT Changos is a posh street mexican food restaurant. You have to order and pay at the bar, but you’ll be served at your table.
My mother had the vegetables plate, it comes which a chipotle salsa (picante). My father and I tried the burritos (chicken for him, portobello for me – more tasty in my opinion-) and they are BIG ! I have to say that I was extremely surprise. First because the restaurant is a perfect mix of street food and cutness, second because it is very complicated to make a tasty burrito.
Fun fact, instead of the israeli lemonade, they serve a lemon/ pear juice. It’s very refreshing and an very good idea. You also can choose your salsa level from mid spicy to very spicy. I stopped at the second stage. Let me know if you dare even more spicy.
The staff is fluent english.
