Ben Gurion Boulevard 39, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

Nestled in the great atmosphere that surrounds Rothschild Boulevard comes Allora — a small yet delicious eatery with high quality service, vibes and of course Italian food.

Allora offers all different types of food and you can be sure that nothing on the menu will disappoint. The restaurant is surrounded by a brick oven that perfectly cooks unique pizza creations and not to mention an amazing focaccia. Start off the meal with one of their delicious cocktails and definitely get a few appetizers to go along with it. The focaccia makes a perfect starter and it’s served with several different tasty dips including an olive paste, garlic confit, pesto, salsa caprese, romesco and pickled lemon. Delizioso! If you’re trying to stay away from bread before the meal, the salads are a great way to go as well.

For the main course, the house-made pasta is especially tasty, however the pizza straight out of the brick oven is one-of-a-kind. The Balkan pizza topped with feta, roasted eggplant, roasted peppers or the Quattro Formaggi pie with mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Parmesan and yellow cheese is another delectable option.

The service at Allora is excellent and extremely personable — they even remembered me from my first visit and offered a cocktail on the house. The atmosphere is both cozy and comfortable and the outdoor porch seating overlooking the hustle and bustle on Rothschild makes the dining experience even better. The restaurant has a certain charm to it and if you’re looking for good Italian food at a great place, don’t miss out on this one.
