Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC), is considered one of the world’s premier dance companies and performs regularly in some of the top theaters and festivals worldwide.

Led by its acclaimed Artistic Director Rami Be’er, the company is situated at the International Dance Village in the Western Galilee in Kibbutz Ga’aton which is home to the company, its 5-month and 10-month Masa Israel ‘Dance Journey’ program for dancers 18 years and up as well as its 2-6 week Summer Intensive dance program for high school and university aged dancers from both Israel and around the world.

KCDC’s International Dance Village is open year round throughout the week for visitors from across the world eager to see a most unique place where they can see the company work and create behind-the-scenes, view a performance, tour the village, learn of the company’s unique story, and participate in dance workshops that are geared for all ages and backgrounds.

KCDC was founded in 1973 by the late Yehudit Arnon who laid the foundation for today’s thriving International Dance Village which was developed and continues to evolve into a first-class center for dance under the leadership of Rami Be’er and KCDC’s management and staff.
