*** From experience, you need to speak Hebrew to get the most from this event – I didn’t when I attended three years ago and got pretty lost ***

What is Pecha Kucha?

PechaKucha Night, now in over 700 cities, was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.

The format is simple – called Pecha Kucha 20×20, each presenter has 400 seconds to present 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images.

PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps — just about anything, really — in the PechaKucha 20×20 format.
