Sandbox is organizing a beach volley tourney and all you have to do is sign up, show up, play and have fun!
Open for everybody, professionals or amateurs! And of course if you just want to join us at the beach to enjoy the perfect weather, great atmosphere, beach, beers and pretty people you’re more than welcome
Friday April 13th ;
9:00-12:00:
+ OPEN tourney Men pools + 1/8 finals ; first half
+ OPEN tourney Women pools + 1/8 or 1/4 finals ; first half
13:00-16:00:
+ OPEN tourney Men pools + 1/8 finals ; second half
+ OPEN tourney Women pools + 1/8 or 1/4 finals ; second half
Saturday April 14th ;
+ 8:30-14:00: Amateurs tourney pools and knock out games
+ 9:45: OPEN men and women 1/4 finals
+ 11:15: 1/2 finals Men and Women
+ 13:00: Main event – Finals Men and Women
Game plan:
+ the OPEN tournament matches will be played best of 3 sets, 1st & 2nd sets played till 15, 3rd set played till 11.
24 teams per gender. 8 pools of 3 teams each. Round robin within each pool, best 2 teams qualify to the 1/8 finals.
Registration is open till Sunday April 8th at 16:00pm. Teams order and entry will be by Sandbox tour rankings which will
be published on the Facebook event. 25th Team and on from there will be in the waiting list.
Sandbox is able to use 2 WC per gender.
+ the amateurs tournament matches will be played 1 set played till 21.
16 teams per gender. 4 pools of 4 teams each. Round robin within each pool, best 2 teams qualify to the 1/4 finals.
Registration is open till Sunday April 8th at 16:00pm. Teams order and entry will be by the registration time, “first
registered first in”. 17th team and on will be in the waiting list.
+ Teams are able to register for both the OPEN and amateurs tournaments as well.
Team qualifying for the 1/4 finals in the OPEN will be canceled of the amateurs.
In case of a waiting list in both OPEN and amateurs than the teams registered for both will have to choose.
Refereeing:
In the OPEN players will be signed for refereeing matches they don’t play in. 1/2 finals and finals will be refereed by Sandbox referees.
In the amateurs refereeing will be “self refereeing”, with assistance of a player from the tournament for tracking score and settle arguments if necessary.
Prizes will be given to the 1st and 2nd places teams in the OPEN tournament per gender. More details will be published.
Participation cost is 50₪ per player.
It includes snacks, drinks, beers and winner prizes!
