After a trip to Ethiopia, a tribute to Monk, a celebration of the roots of hip-hop, and the hospitality of a friend from a star, Idris Akamor and the Pyramidiz, we arrive at the fifth and final episode of this year’s series with a festive performance by the Time Groove Ensemble conducted by Regoiser and Nitay Hershkowitz
Time Grove Ensemble is a product of encounters between some of the leaders of the local jazz scene with the producer and creator of the Reguiser (ROO TIPS / Battling Trio). The meetings resulted in a one-time combination of freestyle jazz with electronic sounds and grooves. The intriguing result will be on the stage for the first time
Live performances from the afternoon including Time Grove Ensemble, Nitai Hershkowitz in a piano solo performance and solo monk orchestra
