About the event

Peter Bamberger, Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Coller School of Management, and Editor-in-Chief of Academy of Management Discoveries, will lead a discussion on the effects of rudeness in the workplace generally, and on medical error in particular.

Findings from his research on workplace rudeness have received wide coverage in the world media (e.g., New York Times, Harvard Business Review, ABC’s Good Morning America).

Beyond explaining how rudeness poses a risk to employee performance on a wide range of tasks, Bamberger will also discuss what employers might do to mitigate this impact.
